Katie McCoid, President
Katie is a recent Michigan transplant by way of Tennessee and Massachusetts. Katie has been a member of the Junior League since 2015. She has served in leadership in both the Junior League of Memphis and the Junior League of Boston. Outside of the League, Katie is also a strong supporter of the Arthritis Foundation. Professionally, Katie works in community relations, building partnerships between organizations. She is also working towards her Masters in Business Administration with focus on leadership and opportunity management. In her free time, Katie enjoys reading, streaming, crafting, and exploring her new home.
Hailie Smith, Executive Vice President
Hailie was born and raised in the Midwest and settled in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2020. She has been a member of the Junior League since 2025 and currently serves as the Executive Vice President. Professionally, she works as a Project Manager at the University of Michigan. In her free time, Hailieenjoys staying active, reading, crafting, attending sporting events, and spending time with her family and friends.

Amy Cell, Finance Vice President
Amy Cell, MBA, CPA, is a workforce leader with a passion for empowering underserved individuals through Amy Cell Talent, the talent consulting and recruiting firm she founded in 2015. Amy and her team have helped hundreds of start-ups and small businesses attract, retain, and develop talent.
Previously, Amy served as a senior vice president for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. She directed talent programs for the State of Michigan and launched groundbreaking initiatives to aid employers and the most vulnerable job seekers.
Amy has raised money for college scholarships and volunteers for many area nonprofits. She has served on the boards of the Washtenaw Community College Foundation and the Desai Accelerator and Center for Entrepreneurship at the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan.
Maria Bertram, Sustainer Advisor to the Board
Maria Bertram is a senior fundraising professional at the University of Michigan with extensive experience in principal and major gift fundraising, planning and execution of comprehensive philanthropic campaigns in a complex academic medical center within a top-ranked public research university including the $1.5B Victors for Michigan campaign achievement on a $1B goal. Maria leads the fundraising team for U-M’s C.S. Mott Children’s and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospitals, and is a senior member of the Michigan Medicine Development leadership team. Maria and her husband Terry split their time between Ann Arbor and Portage Lake in Dexter, have five adult children and three young grandchildren. Maria loves spending time in nature, hosting family and friends, reading, needlepointing, cheering for UM sports, walking her cute cockapoo and finding ways to travel our amazing world.
