Junior League Week Events

Junior League Week is an annual multi-day event whose goal is to showcase the many ways our Ann Arbor chapter develops the potential of women, improves our community, and promotes voluntarism. Many activities are free and most are open to the public.

An estimated 1,000 attendees have participated in a Junior League Week activity since JLAA held its first such celebration in 2015. Among other activities, our Ann Arbor chapter has used the week to:

 * Hold town-hall forums on human trafficking

* Conduct needs drives for various area agencies

* Educate moms and daughters about relational aggression in elementary-school-aged girls

* Bring an audience together for a "Women in Leadership" panel

* Do hands-on volunteer work and education about hunger in our community

* Create Valentine's Day cards for residents in area nursing homes

Our next Junior League Week is scheduled for March 18-22, 2018. Check jlaa.org in late 2017 for a full list of activities and registration details.
