What: Raffle tickets are $5.00 each for a chance to win up to $5,000 worth of experiences including a fabulous Espresso Machine, Vacation Packages, Fine Dining Experiences and much much more. One lucky winner receives the total grand prize and a chance to "Live Like a Millionaire" all year long. To view a current list of prizes, click here. Who: Members are being asked to sell raffle tickets to their friends, colleagues, neighbors and family. The seller of the winning ticket will also receive a fantastic prize.
When: The Raffle Drawing to take place at the GMM Annual Dinner on Tuesday, May 11th 2010 at the Polo Fields Golf and Country Club, Ann Arbor. Members will sell tickets all year long. Winner need not be present to win.
Where: You will be able to pick up your tickets to sell on consignment at the next GMM or at the Sustainer Meetings. Contact the JLAA committee if you cannot make these events. Winner need not be present to win.
How: How can you help?
- Sell tickets to your friends. 100% of your ticket sales go toward your fundraising requirement.
- Ask your friends to sponsor your volunteer time this year by donating $5.00 to the JLAA for each volunteer hour you put in during the League year. In exchange for sponsoring that hour, they will receive a raffle ticket.
- Do you know a local business that may be willing to donate a gift certificate item or gift card to our raffle? Contact Jen at millionaire@jlaa.org and we will make arrangements to follow up with them.
Market Your Business and Help Someone Live Like A Millionaire!
Want to promote your business and help a good cause at the same time? This year, the Junior League of Ann Arbor is proud to carry on our new fundraiser called "Live Like a Millionaire Raffle" to benefit the mission and community projects we provide to the greater Ann Arbor community.
How it works:
Our members will sell raffle tickets for $5.00 each to people from Ann Arbor, Canton, Dexter, Northville, Plymouth, Saline, Ypsilanti and beyond for a chance to win hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars worth of gift cards and certificates from local businesses like yours. One lucky winner receives ALL the gift cards and a chance to "Live Like a Millionaire" all year long. In addition, the member selling the winning ticket will be awarded a seller's prize!
Benefits For Your Business:
- Your business name and donation will be posted on the raffle area of our website (www.jlaa.org) and promoted at our membership meetings.
- 150+ raffle ticket sellers will provide flyers to potential buyers about your donation to the raffle, giving you exposure in your market area.
- Your donation is 100% tax deductible because the Junior League is a 501(c)3 organization.
How you can help:
- Consider donating two gift certificates or two gift cards that can be redeemed at your business. One certificate will be given to the Grand Prize winner and the other will be given to the member who sells the winning ticket, further promoting ticket sales and your business.
- Sell raffle tickets at your business location.
How to donate:
A member of the Junior League will contact you in the next several days to answer questions that you may have and arrange a time for the donations to be picked up at your place of business. In the meantime, you can contact us by sending an e-mail to the Millionaire Committee.

Where does your money go?
Your donation will go towards the Junior League of Ann Arbor, a non-profit organization in its 27th year with more than 200 members in the greater Ann Arbor Area.
This organization is committed to promoting volunteerism, improving our communities and training leaders to serve in the non-profit sector locally!
The JLAA has had an incredible history of providing huge financial support and ‘woman’ power to so many organizations in need . By purchasing tickets & helping to sell tickets you will be making an incredible difference and have a hand in creating a positive impact in our community.
