DIAD (Done In A Day) Projects

Each year, JLAA volunteers support a number of high-impact, short term projects with existing agency projects or new programs. Ideally, each project allows 10 - 20 JLAA volunteers to perform significant duties utilizing their capabilities over the course of a few hours. It is our greatest hope that as volunteers we can make a difference in our community by helping your clients in a very hands-on manner. The CAPP committee provides a liaison to discuss volunteer roles and coordinate JLAA participation in the project together with your organization.

Upcoming deadlines for DIAD Project applications are:

• October 10, 2008 for the Winter 2008-2009 project
• March 6, 2009 for the Fall 2009 project
