Produce Distribution

The Junior League of Ann Arbor is proud of its Produce Distribution program. The program  began in Fall 2012. In partnership with Food Gatherers - the food rescue and food bank program serving Washtenaw County, the Junior League of Ann Arbor Produce Distribution program fights childhood hunger and obesity in Washtenaw County by providing fresh fruits and vegetables, nutritious snacks, and health education.

The Junior League of Ann Arbor is looking for enthusiastic women who are committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers!  

The 2014-15 New Member Class is complete but we welcome potential New Members for 2015-16 to attend one of our many activities to learn more about the league.

Kids In The Kitchen

KITK is a national Junior League program that addresses the growing issues of childhood obesity and malnutrition. Designed for young audiences, Kids in the Kitchen events promote healthy eating habits, nutrition awareness, and the importance of daily exercise through hands-on activities and interactive discussions.

Signature Project

SPAC (Public Affairs)

As members of the League, we are United with the nine chapters across Michigan. We participate in our League-wide State Public Affairs Committee which serves as the advocacy arm for the Junior League. Through these efforts we impact state policies and local initiatives that promote childhood/school nutrition and access to healthy food.
